“In some ways suffering ceases to be suffering at the moment it finds a meaning, such as the
meaning of a sacrifice.”

Viktor Frankl

„Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.”

 Viktor E.Frankl

Dear Visitor, welcome!

I am glad that you have visited us, because the first and one of the most difficult steps on the road to recovery is to recognize the problem itself.

I think of you with empathy at the beginning of this challenging process. However, this journey is also an experience full of possibilities, which will allow you to discover your own values and become more resilient to life’s difficulties. This process is often like a secret room: as long as we do not know what resides inside, we are filled with fear, since anything can be behind the door. And it’s impossible to cope with everything. However, if we decide to voluntarily go through the door, it may turn out that there are only a few things that live inside, which are not as difficult to deal with as we thought.

I myself am passionate about psychology and I am motivated to expand my knowledge in order to be able to help you as much as possible.

By working together, you can experience unconditional positive regard, which can be healing for accepting yourself. I strive to the maximum for empathy so that instead of superficiality, I can really get to know you and deeply understand your difficulty. And I do all this with sincere interest, since each person is unique.

Acute problems in life

If you feel you can’t cope with a problem on your own I want you to know it won’t always be that way and you’re not alone. Most of the difficulties can be broken down into smaller and less daunting units in the right supporting environment, which can be overcome with the individual’s unique resources. I support and assist you in finding these resources.

Stress

When we are stressed we feel like we do not know what to do with one or even several situations. We feel like we are stuck. And that can fill us with fear or anxiety. Often this anxiety is projected onto other areas of life, and in more and more situations we feel the tight presence of stress. Then, with the help of self-knowledge, we can examine the original cause that triggered the stress and realize that only a particular situation is stressful for us. Our fears are reduced, and by increasing and using our resources, we can effectively manage and eliminate stress.

Social relationships

Social relationships are one of the most important factors in life affecting our well-being. According to some approaches, both our identity and our personality are inseparable from those around us. No wonder, then, that some of our problems stem from our relationships. That’s when a supporting outsider can really help, who focuses only on you instead of others and does so with empathy and acceptance. I’m looking forward to getting to know you!

Self-knowledge

Self-knowledge is the basis of development. Self-knowledge allows us to understand the past, accept the present and actively act for a brighter future. However, self-knowledge is difficult, precisely because of its potential. Who hasn’t said to themselves that I’ll deal with myself later? When I have the energy to do it. It’s too much effort now. These are perfectly understandable sentences and even tell us how important the problem is to us. If we stubbornly do not want to deal with some psychological difficulty, that is exactly why it is worth it. Self-knowledge offers us the opportunity to know our behavior more deeply, thus helping us to solve our problems more effectively.

Dr. László Tringer: Doctor, Psychiatrist.

Who introduced me to the Rogerian Person-Centered Therapy and showed how much humanity and unconditional positive regard are worth.

Gábor Pintér: Clinical psychologist, Psychotherapist

Who, on the one hand, showed how important self-knowledge is in psychology, and on the other hand, strengthened the courage in me.

Dr. Magda Szőnyi : Psychologist, Relaxation therapist, Symbol therapist

Who showed me that therapy is not about the question “why?” but about “what does it mean?”. It is not a matter of whether an exercise succeeds, but of what it makes the person feel? The individual experience is the key.

Autogenic Training was developed by Schultz, a German psychiatrist, based on the observation that sometimes we ourselves are able to put ourselves in a hypnotic state that has a beneficial effect on our mental and physical health. Autogenic Training is a relaxation technique that helps with stress management and can provide an opportunity to get to know oneself more deeply. Autogenic training thus has two main functions: relaxation and self-knowledge. These exercises can be easily applied anywhere, even on public transportation, if you want to moderate or reduce your stress response. In today’s fast-paced world, this can be quite a catch. However, if we want to get to know ourselves more deeply, Autogenic Training is also suitable for this. This is because in this relaxed state, unconscious contents can come to the surface that can help us understand our behavior and how we work. Through these two functions, Autogenic Training is a really effective method that psychologists in Western Europe often use in their practice.
