“Be patient with all that is unresolved in your heart, and try to love the questions themselves.” — Rainer Maria Rilke

Core statement

I deeply believe that while we cannot simply change our feelings, we can change our thoughts. Some experiences, losses and painful moments in our lives cannot be undone, and some feelings cannot simply be changed. However, we can learn to change the way we think about what we have been through, how we relate to ourselves, and how we can draw on the inner resources we need to grow, in the light of our own life stories.

About me

I believe that one of the greatest gifts we can offer each other is our wholehearted attention: making a sincere effort to understand someone as fully as possible while approaching them with unconditional acceptance and openness. This belief has given me the profoundsense that psychology is a vocation in which I can feel at home throughout my life.

My aim is to help my patients to develop a closer connection with themselves, become more confident in expressing their needs, and gradually create a life in which they feel freer, more fulfilled and more true to themselves.

I believe that one of the most important conditions for change is having a place where we feel truly safe. A place where we don’t have to be afraid to express what hurts, what feels uncertain, or what we may find difficult to acknowledge even to ourselves.  In my work, I place particular emphasis on creating such a space for everyone.

During my sessions, I consider it essential to make room for emotions and to understand the experiences, thoughts and behavioural patterns connected to the difficulties a person is currently facing. This understanding can help us recognise where change is possible and how we can take steps towards a more balanced life with less anxiety.

Talking about difficulties related to sexuality is, in itself, a courageous step, because sexuality is one of the most important aspects of who we are, yet perhaps also one of the most vulnerable. I believe that sexuality is not only a profound way of connection between two people, but also a pathway to self-understanding and a deeper connection with ourselves. I feel grateful whenever someone places their trust in me and feels able to share their difficulties in this area, at their own pace and in their own words.

Our relationship with our bodies, desires and boundaries can be shaped by past experiences, expectations and beliefs we hold about ourselves. Exploring these influences can help us gain a clearer understanding of our own needs, make more conscious decisions, set boundaries more easily and connect with ourselves more freely.

Working together, we aim to explore what may lie behind difficulties, anxieties and recurring patterns experienced in sexuality and intimacy. Among other things, we pay attention to:

  • Past experiences
  • Relationship patterns
  • Automatic responses
  • Recognising desires and needs
  • Identifying and strengthening personal boundaries

The aim is not to meet an external standard, but to find an individual path towards a fulfilling sexual life – one that honours personal boundaries, trust, safety, freedom, pleasure and authenticity.

Anxiety is part of all our lives. However, there may be times it can begin to take up too much space in our everyday lives and holds us back from situations in which we would truly like to feel free to be ourselves. Whether we are dealing with fears in social situations, anxiety about other people’s opinions, low mood or uncertainty related to sexuality, I believe it is important to learn to approach our anxiety with understanding, recognise the thoughts and feelings underlying it, and gradually develop new ways of responding to situations we have previously found difficult.

My aim is to help my patients gradually learn to recognise and move beyond their automatic responses, so they can approach situations that once regularly caused them difficulty in a different way. I believe this ability can be developed through our work together, offering a key that can, step by step, open doors in their lives that once seemed closed.
